Upon hearing Stevie Wonder at age 15, Allen Stone was deadset on becoming the next R&B and soul sensation. The singer-songwriter released his debut work Last to Speak in 2009. The self-released record paved the way for Stone to promote and tour across the country. By 2012, Stone broke into the indie and R&B scene with his self-titled sophomore effort. The album charted on Billboard’s Indie and R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Three years later, Stone marked his debut on the Billboard 200 chart with Radius. The album becomes his major label debut after signing with Capitol Records. In 2021, Stone continued his indie streak with Apart. The album spawned hits, “Unaware” and “Is This Love.”
American funk icons Ripe is a four piece group from Los Angeles. Robbie Wulfsohn, Jon Becker, Samspon Hellerman, and Calvin Barthel all met in Berklee College of Music. In 2018, the band released their debut album Joy in the Wild Unknown which featured collaborative work with highly regarded producers Cory Wong, Joe Visciano, and Randy Merril. In 2023, the band followed their debut album with another incredible work Bright Blues, spawning the hit, “Settling.”
