Acoustic fans, meet alternative metalheads! GRAMMY Award-nominated band Sevendust will unite these two breeds of music lovers in Fall 2025 on their “Southside Double-wide” Tour, featuring outlaw country guest Cory Marks! Including this Friday night show on November 28 at Fillmore Minneapolis, the five-piece group of Vinnie Hornsby, Morgan Rose, John Connolly, Lajon Witherspoon, and Clint Lowery will celebrate two decades of their first – and only – live album in more than 20 US cities.
Revisit an intimate concert from the mid-2000s with Sevendust as they bring back “Southside Double-Wide: Acoustic Live.” This season, the Gold-certified crew of heavy riffmakers revives their iconic experience in Athens, 2003 (which spawned the tour’s namesake Billboard Indie #1 album), performing stripped-down renditions of Mainstream Rock/AA Top 40 classics like “Black,” “Bitch,” “Angel’s Son,” and more. From aggressive alt-metal bangers to silky acoustics, Sevendust transforms their pulse-pounding sound into something that’ll stir your soul. Don’t miss it – buy tickets now!
Friday, November 28, 2025 — Sevendust is laying their music bare on the highly anticipated “Southside Double-wide” Tour, with special guest Cory Marks, at the Fillmore Minneapolis. They’re celebrating 22 YEARS of a momentous live acoustic performance in Athens, Georgia, across 22 cities in the United States. Kicking off in Columbia, the beloved alternative metal trailblazers are telling fans to join in as they retune aggressive, bottom-heavy reverbs into soulful melodies and silky-sweet riffs, coming to tug at all your heartstrings nationwide!
The upcoming concert tour shares its title and concept with our headlining group’s inaugural live album, “Southside Double-Wide: Acoustic Live.” This release rose to the 90th spot on the Billboard 200 and ranked 1st on the Independent Albums chart after its May 4, 2004, debut under TVT Records. As with its namesake, the tour shines the spotlight on many Sevendust show-stoppers, such as Top 40 Mainstream Rock hits “Black” and “Bitch” from their self-titled debut album, not to mention “Angel’s Son” — the Top 15 Alternative Airplay tribute to Snot’s Lynn Strait. Other featured albums include one of Sevendust’s best-charting issues, Seasons (2003), as well as the Gold-certified favorites Home (1999) and Animosity (2001). Of course, we’re not discounting possible additions from the GRAMMY-nominated crew’s later projects and mid-aught staples like Billboard Rock Top 40s “Enemy,” “Praise,” “Waffle,” and “Risen.”
Members Vinnie Hornsby, Morgan Rose, John Connolly, Lajon Witherspoon, and Clint Lowery can’t wait to prowl the nation once more, this time with the support of MC Platinum-certified singer Cory Marks. A modern outlaw musician known for blending country swagger and rock energy, Marks pulls crowds with arena-worthy performances of hits like “(Make My) Country Rock” and his breakthrough “Outlaws & Outsiders” single.
