Get ready for an amazing evening of live music! Steve Jones (guitarist of the Sex Pistols), Paul Cook (drummer of the Sex Pistols), and Glen Matlock (bass player and original lead singer of the Sex Pistols) are celebrating 50 Years of Punk with their 50 Years of Punk Tour. They will be performing at The Fillmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026. This will be a truly historic night of music with three of the pioneers of the Punk Rock movement performing for the most hardcore and dedicated fans of all ages.
They will play all of the songs written by Glen Matlock whilst he was in the Sex Pistols including the three biggest punk anthems of all time, “Anarchy in the U.K”., “God Save the Queen”, and “Pretty Vacant”. The live versions of all of these songs are even more powerful than their recorded counterparts. Although the Sex Pistols only ever released one studio album, “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols”, the band have a vast array of live performances released over the years in the form of live albums and video/dvd compilations. Although the Sex Pistols only managed to tour for a year the huge influence that they had on Rock music has continued to spawn many other punk and alternative bands from all over the world. The Sex Pistols were inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 but refused to attend the ceremony calling it a “urine stain” on Rock music.
